CHICKEN LIVER FRY/CHICKEN KALEJI FRY RECIPE/CHICKEN LIVER MASALA

Chicken liver fry is a simple recipe to prepare as a side dish for rice or chapati. Since pepper powder is the key ingredient for this recipe ,i would like to  call this recipe as chicken liver pepper fry.Here first of all i am going to cook these marinated chicken liver separately, so that chicken liver will get cooked well and it will not taste raw at all.Shallots or small onions are used for preparing masala ,we can replace this with normal onions ,but do not use more quantity ,since it would make the gravy little sweet in flavor. I prefer to cut these liver in to small pieces to coat well with flavorful masalas.

 

INGREDIENTS

Chicken liver-300gms
shallots/small onions-1/2 cup
ginger-medium sized
garlic-4-5 cloves
green chillies-3
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
pepper powder-1 tsp
coriander powder-1tbsp
coconut oil-1 tbsp
salt
coriander leaves
curry leaves

 

METHOD

wash and clean these chicken liver thoroughly and cut them in to small pieces.

Adding 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder,1 tsp of chilli powder and salt.

cook this for 3-4 minutes in medium flame

Heat oil in a pan ,saute gin ger,garlic and green chillies.

adding shallots or small onions,saute it well ,until they become transluscent.

Adding turmeric powder and coriander powder.

Roasting these masala for 1 minute in low flame.

Adding cooked chicken liver.

Pouring 1/4 cup of water for combining well with the masala.Adding enough salt.

cook for another  3-4 minutes .Drop some curry leaves.

Gravy has thickened well and chicken liver coated well with all the masala.

MURINGAYILA PARIPPU CURRY/DAL CURRY WITH DRUMSTICK LEAVES

Muringayila/Drumstick leaves have a lot of medicinal benefits.These leaves are highly nutritious as well as tasty.This simple moringa leaves curry can be prepared very quickly and make a great combination for rice.Drumstick leaves cooked with dal is an absolute south Indian delicacy. Here i am using masoor dal for preparing this curry.However this can be cooked along with tor dal as well.This simple dish can be made by using minimum ingredients that are readily available in a south indian kitchen.

Ingredients

Drumstick leaves/Muringayila-2 cups

Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

Masoor dal-1 cup

salt

shallots-3

garlic-3

coconut oil-1 tbsp

For grinding

kasmiri chilli powder-1tsp

salt -as per taste

coconut grated-1/2 cup

cumin seeds-1 tsp

green chillied-3

garlic-3

 

Method

Pressure cook masoor dal with 1 &1/2 cup of water and 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder.Cook until 2-3 whistles.

Cook muringa leaves with 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder and 1/2 cup of water.Sprinkle some salt.

In a blender jar adding grated coconut,cumin seeds,turmeric powder ,garlic and green chillies.Grind and  make a very fine paste.

For seasoning ,in a frying pan adding 1 tbsp of coconut oi,shallots and garlic.Fry until they turn brown.

This is a simple and delicious cake to try for Christmas. Method is so easy that even beginners can prepare this cake.Dates and walnuts have a lot of health benefits.In this cake I used eggs which makes it even more softer and spongy.

INGREDIENTS

All purpose flour-1 cup (250 ml)
Powdered sugar-1 cup
Vanilla essence-1/2 tsp
Baking powder-1 tsp
Butter -75gms
Eggs-3
Dates &walnut finely chopped-1/4 cup

For grinding
Dates-15
Milk-1 cup

soak 15  deseeded dates in 1 cup of warm milk for 30 minutes.(1 cup=250 ml)

SIMPLE BUTTER CHICKEN RECIPE/BUTTER CHICKEN WITHOUT CREAM/TASTY BUTTER CHICKEN RECIPE

Butter chicken is one of my family favorites. Boneless chicken pieces soaked in spiced creamy vegetable gravy .It’s really drooling !!!!!!! just by the imagination  !!.In this recipe i used minimum ingredients which are mostly readily  available at home.Being a calorie conscious one ,most of the time i prepare butter chicken without cream .Here i have used chicken breasts which are protein rich as well as tasty , to prepare this delicious chicken curry.

BUTTER CHICKEN BONELESS/MURGH MAKHANI RECIPE/

Ingredients

Boneless chicken -500 gms
tandoori chicken masala-1&1/2 tbsp
onion -1 large sized
tomato-1
cashew nuts-1/4 cup
curds-1tbsp
ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
chilli powder-2 tsp
garam masala -1/2 tsp
bay leaf-1
cococnut milk-2 tbsp
Butter- 2 tbsp
kasuri methi-1 tsp
salt

SOYA CHUNKS ROAST RECIPE/MEAL MAKER ROAST /SIMPLE SOYA CHUNKS CURRY/MEAL MAKER CURRY.

This soya chunks curry is a best side dish for chapati or rice.This protein rich soya chunks recipe is a must try for every one ,especially for the vegetarians. Soya bean curry can be prepared very quickly.these dry soya chunks we need to soak for 20-30 minutes in boiling water and wait until it becomes soft.

Ingredients

soya chunks-2&1/2 cups
turmeric-1/2 tsp
chilli-2 tsp (mild spicy)
chicken masala-2&1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste-1&1/2 tbsp
tomato-1
onion-1
green chillies-4-5
salt
oil-1&1/2 tbsp
coriander leaves

soak soya chunks for 20 minutes in boiling water and cut them in to small pieces.

saute all the veggies like onion s,ginger,garlic.green chillies ,tomato until they become mushy ,using enough oil.

BRINJAL FRY/EGG PLANT FRY/KERALA STYLE BRINJAL FRY/BRINJAL RAVA FRY/EGGPLANT RAVA FRY

Brinjal/eggplant is rich with lots of nutritional benefits.It is good to include eggplant /Brinjal in our diet.
Brinjal fry/eggplant fry is a very simple recipe which can be prepared very quickly within 5 minutes.It is nit at all a time consuming vegeterian recipe.

Here i have shown another variation for this Brinjal/Eggplant fry ,that is Rava fry.Coating with rava on the brinjal slices takes it to an entirely different level.This will give a nice crunchy coating for this eggplant /brinjal.Serve this immediately after fryiing for maintaining the crispiness and taste.

Chilli powder-3 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Rava-3tbsp
Salt
